3. Categories of Personal Data Collected

We collect the following categories of personal data:

Account data. When you register for the platform, we collect your name, email address, password (stored in encrypted form), and subscription status.

Career and professional content. When you use the platform, we process the CV you upload, your answers to the 14-question framework, your work history, and any other professional information you choose to provide. The AI-generated outputs produced from those inputs (career narrative, CV summary, LinkedIn copy, cover letter, interview preparation, and related materials) are also stored within your account.

Payment data. When you purchase a subscription or coaching add-on, billing information is processed by our third-party payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full payment card details on our own systems; we receive only the limited transaction metadata necessary to manage your subscription.

Questionnaire and contact form data. When you complete a questionnaire or contact form on our website outside of the registered platform, we collect the name, email address, and any other details you choose to share in your responses.

Technical browsing data. We collect basic technical browsing data (such as IP address, session identifiers, and device or browser information) necessary for the secure operation of this website and the platform, and to support analytics and service improvement.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data. We ask that users do not upload information they consider sensitive (such as health data, political opinions, or religious beliefs) into the platform.

To process payments for subscriptions and coaching add-ons, and to manage billing, renewals, and cancellations.

To provide customer support and respond to your requests.

To send you transactional communications related to your account, subscription, and the use of the service.

To send you email marketing communications, updates, and campaign-related content that you have explicitly accepted by completing and submitting a questionnaire, contact form, or marketing opt-in on our website.

To improve the quality, security, and performance of the platform, including through aggregated and anonymized analytics.

To comply with legal obligations.

We will not use your data for any other purpose without your prior consent.

5. Our Commitment: We Do Not Sell or Reuse Your Data

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will never sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for their own commercial purposes. Your data will not be reused for purposes other than those described in this Privacy Policy.

In particular, your CV, questionnaire answers, and AI-generated career positioning materials are not used to train, retrain, validate, or improve foundation AI models without your explicit, informed consent.

6. Legal Basis for Processing

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at admin@myimpactnarrative.ai or info@viewvalue.io, or by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email we send. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Legitimate interests (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Processing necessary to ensure the security of the platform, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the quality of our services through analytics, where these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

Legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR). Processing necessary to comply with applicable laws, including tax, accounting, and consumer protection obligations.

These include payment processors (Stripe), cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, AI model providers used to generate the outputs of the service, email and customer communication platforms, and analytics providers.

These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and data processing agreements and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

We do not sell or disclose your data to any other third parties, except where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

8. International Data Transfers

Because VIEWVALUE LLC is based in the United States and some of our service providers operate internationally, personal data may be transferred and processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or your country of residence. Such transfers are carried out under the safeguards provided by the GDPR, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, ensuring an adequate level of data protection.

9. Data Retention

We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.

Account and career content. Retained for the duration of your active subscription and account. If you cancel your subscription or close your account, your CV, questionnaire answers, and AI-generated outputs are retained for a reasonable transition period and then deleted, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.

Marketing data. Retained until you withdraw your consent or request deletion.

Billing and tax records. Retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws.

Upon a valid deletion request, your data will be securely removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

11. Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. These include access controls, encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest where appropriate, secure password storage, segregation of sensitive systems, and secure data handling practices by our staff and processors.

12. Updates to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect regulatory changes or updates to our services. The current version will always be published on our website, and material changes will be notified to active users by email or in-product notice with reasonable advance notice.
